Halloween 2012

Halloween was so fun this year!  Jett originally decided that he was going to be Buzz Lightyear, and so Ace was going to be Woody.  We bought the costumes & tried them on.  Jett loved Ace's costume, so Buzz went back to the store, and we ended up with Woody 1 & Woody 2:)  The boys were so cute!  We love our boots!  We went to the members only Fall Festival at the Children's Museum first.  The boys trick or treated on the second floor, and then played on the first floor for quite a while before we left.  Our next stop was to pick up Daddy at work & head over to campus for their festivities.  Jett threw darts at balloons, ring tossed a Dr. Pepper, and successfully bobbed for apples.  He was pretty bummed that there was no bounce house, but I think the chocolate made up for it.  We finished out the night with a stop at the McClelland' s house.  We visited with Lawson & Grayson for a bit before heading home for supper.  We had a pretty great Halloween!

Jett was bummed that the train wasn't running:(

 Both hats on!

Jett was teaching Ace & Momma all about Louisiana:)

 Jett is an excellent shopper:)

Woody did a great job running the cash register!

 Jett got an apple!

Jett was so cute, even though he kinda looked like a hillbilly:)

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!

The boys loved the pumpkin patch this year!  They looked at the pumpkins, ran around, checked out the scarecrows, and finally settled down to pick out their mini pumpkins.  I would've loved more pictures of them together, but I guess that's life:)  I was happy that Jett let me take a couple of pics at home.  Jett wanted a pirate pumpkin this year.  Daddy carved it, and Momma painted the eye patch & hat.  Originally the hat was plain black (pic on Ace's blog), Jett had me add a skull & crossbones to make it a "real" pirate hat.  I think it turned out great!

Jett liked the pumpkins, he just couldn't get comfortable:)

Jett in full sprint around the pumpkin patch!

 So strong!

 I love this face!

 Completed pirate pumpkin:)

I love this pic!  The only smile I got from Jett!

Summer Visits at G & Opa's House

We had a lot of fun at G & Opa's house this summer!  Jett got a lot more comfortable with swimming in the pool this year.  We have great hopes for next year!  I believe we may do a little swimming in the hot tub this winter just so it stays familiar:)  Jett loves the rock climbing wall & planet diagram with movable shuttle at the park in G & Opa's neighborhood!  I'm sure we will visit the park some more on future visits.  I've included some of my favorite pictures from all of our visits.  Enjoy!

Jett playing with Ace & Momma.  Just a little water to spit out:)

Jett loves to play volleyball in the pool!

 Jett loves moving the shuttle.

Jett did a great job telling Momma & Ace all about the planets.

Summer Trip to Tennessee

I'm playing catch up!  I just uploaded a ton of pictures from my phone.  These are the ones from our trip back in June.  Ryan had a work trip for 2 weeks, so the boys & I went to Tennessee for about a week.  Ace & I flew home, and Jett visited with Pop & Polly in Kentucky for another week.  We really enjoyed seeing Aunt Winnie's house for the first time.  I got to catch up with one of my best friends from high school, and we got to meet her daughter for the first time.  We always have a good time in Clifton with Mawmaw & Pawpaw and Grandmother & Grandaddy.  We also really enjoyed our visit with Mama Holt.  We had a blast in Tennessee, and look forward to seeing everyone again in December!

The boys loved the airport!  They were watching our plane pull up to the gate:)

Driving through the field to the river with Aunt Winnie:)

I love this one of Jett at the river!

Day 4: Epcot

Our final day at Disney World was spent at Epcot.  We were pretty upset that we didn't have more time.  Jett loved the giant golf ball (Spaceship Earth)!  We all loved the Finding Nemo area.  They transformed the Living Seas Aquarium into a Finding Nemo ride through the aquarium, an interactive area with the turtles, sharks, & other animals from Nemo, as well as the aquarium part that you walk though.  The boys loved the dolphins, sharks, turtles, & all the fish!  Short on time, we headed over to the area with all the countries.  We had some characters to meet!  We went to France first.  We met Marie from the Aristocats & Belle (Beauty).  We were upset that Beast was not with her:(  Belle was great; she loved the boys!  She even gave Ace a kiss.  Jett was hilarious!  He said, "Belle!  You left marks on Ace's face!"  I guess I don't wear lipstick often enough:)  We saw Aladdin & Jasmine in Morocco.  They liked the Lightning McQueen jibbitz on his crocs.  They told us to stop in Japan to see the addition of grassy Lightning McQueen & Mater.  Jett really liked Jasmine, she held his hand:)  We stopped for a picture with the grassy cars in Tokyo, then walked on to China.  Jett was really excited to meet Mulan.  Mulan is one of his very favorite movies!  He asked her about Mushu & Crikee.  She told him that they were training to be warriors.  She asked Jett if he thought Mushu would make it good warrior.  He laughed & said, "No, he's a little dragon!"  Mulan was pleased with his answer.  She noticed Ace's kiss & decided to give Jett one to match.  Jett was not pleased with his face being dirty:)  He did enjoy seeing Mulan!  We left China, and went to hop on the monorail to Magic Kingdom.  The boys decided on Mickey ears and light sabers for their souvenirs.  We picked up light sabers in Tomorrow Land and Mickey ears on Main Street.  That concluded our first Disney experience, and we headed home.  When we asked Jett what his favorite ride was, he said the "people mover!"  Jett called the monorail the people mover.  So glad that we took that ride from Epcot to Magic Kingdom on the "people mover!"

Crazy picture in front of the giant golf ball!

Day 3: Animal Kingdom

After breakfast at the Polynesian, we jumped on a Disney bus and headed to Animal Kingdom.  Jett was ready.  We really enjoyed Animal Kingdom.  We were pretty bummed that neither of our children were tall enough for the Kali River Rapids, but we still had a lot of fun.  Jett really enjoyed the Kilimanjaro Safari, Lion King show, and A Bug's Life.  Animal Kingdom had a great parade too!  We met lots of characters and got lots of autographs while waiting for the Lion King production.  There were lots of misting fans too (Momma's favorite part).  We had a great day topped off with some fun back at the pool!

Jett was ready!  He loved the front of the bus.
