Jett loves to play at our park! There is so much to do. He loves to climb up stairs & the knobby climbing area, ring the bell, and slide! He also likes to swing with Momma. Daddy & I enjoyed watching Jett play.

Trip to Pop & Polly's House

We made our trip to Kentucky to see Pop & Polly, Uncle Adam & soon-to-be Aunt Caitlin over the long 4th of July weekend. We left on Wednesday and came back on Monday. One of our favorite things to do on the way is to stop and eat at one of our favorite restaurants in Memphis. This time, we decided to stop at Corky's Barbeque. We haven't had good barbeque since we left Memphis. It was delicious! When we got to Pop & Polly's, we saw Mimi & Pappy, Belinda, and a few of Uncle Adam's friends. Uncle Adam & Caitlin got there later that night. While we were there, we enjoyed: swimming in the pool ( it was too cold for Jett though), riding on Uncle Adam's boat, watching fireworks (they scared Jett!), Jett & Daddy rode the 4 wheeler, and Jett went with Pop & Polly to McDonald's so Momma & Daddy could go to the movies. We all had a great time! We had church on Sunday, and we left to come back home that evening. Although we enjoyed our visit, Jett was super happy to be back home on Monday! I think he missed his room & his toys!

Trip to G & Opa's House

Jett & I went to G & Opa's for a long weekend. Daddy was in Baton Rouge for the Cowboy Round-Up Tour on Friday, so we left a little early. Mawmaw, Aunt Sheila, Aunt Nicki, & cousins Brianna & Addison came to visit on Saturday. We hadn't seen them since Christmas, so it was really nice that they came to Houston for a visit. Jett really enjoyed playing with Brianna & Addison. He also learned that Mawmaw was the one to see if he wanted to go outside! She was happy to take him. G was excited to hear Jett say "G" for the first time. And, Opa & Indy were fun to play with as always. We had a great time playing in the pool, and enjoying the Kemah Boardwalk. Jett loved the train ride!

On a different note, Brianna & Addison asked if Jett had clothes to wear. They hadn't seen him in anything but a diaper for a couple of days. I had to explain that at G & Opa's house, you always have to be ready to go for a swim. Jett would get in with all his clothes on if I let him, so he doesn't often wear clothes while we're there. He prefers it that way!
