Day 3: Animal Kingdom

After breakfast at the Polynesian, we jumped on a Disney bus and headed to Animal Kingdom.  Jett was ready.  We really enjoyed Animal Kingdom.  We were pretty bummed that neither of our children were tall enough for the Kali River Rapids, but we still had a lot of fun.  Jett really enjoyed the Kilimanjaro Safari, Lion King show, and A Bug's Life.  Animal Kingdom had a great parade too!  We met lots of characters and got lots of autographs while waiting for the Lion King production.  There were lots of misting fans too (Momma's favorite part).  We had a great day topped off with some fun back at the pool!

Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at The Polynesian Resort

We had our second character dining experience at the O' Hana restaurant in the Polynesian Resort.  We had breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, & Pluto before heading out to Animal Kingdom.  It was early, but the boys loved it!  Breakfast started and ended with a parade with all of the characters, and everyone got maracas to shake.  Breakfast was wonderful.  We had Mickey shaped waffles, island potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage links.  Jett ate some eggs and a little bit of sausage, which is good for him:)  He was so excited!  Lilo & Stitch is one of his favorite movies!  Jett was really good with all of the characters.  He smiled in almost all of his pictures!  I'm so glad he had a great time!

Lunch with Disney Junior Characters at Hollywood & Vine

We had our first character meal at Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios.  Jett was super excited!  We got to meet Special Agent Oso, Handy Manny, Jake from the Neverland Pirates, & Jett's favorite, June from Little Einsteins.  The food was really great too, but the boys could've cared less:)  This was a great experience.  They played music from all of the Disney Junior shows.  The characters & kids got to dance and conga line.  Jett was brave and danced with June to his favorite song "Roll Up the Map."  We all had a great time!

Day 2: Hollywood Studios

On our second day, we went to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Jett was really looking forward to seeing Lightning McQueen!  We met Phineas & Ferb, Lightning McQueen & Mater, and Green Army Man.  We also saw lots of our favorites in the Disney/Pixar parade, and at our character lunch at Hollywood & Vine.  Jett loved the "Lights, Camera, Action" car stunt show featuring Lightning McQueen!  Jett really liked all of the shows, especially Beauty & the Beast and Disney Junior.  We went back to the hotel again that evening to swim, bathe, and eat.  We capped off day 2 with "Fantasmic."  I think Jett loved it more than Lightning McQueen!  He was paying close attention to the story being told.  The dragon appeared, and when it was nearly silent all around us Jett yells, "Mickey, look out!  The dragon is behind you!"  He was so cute!  That moment was definitely worth it for me:)  The end was exciting too with all of the characters singing & dancing on the boats.  It was a pretty fantastic day!

More from the Magic Kingdom

We took a break after our long day at Magic Kingdom.  The boys fell asleep on the bus ride back to our hotel.  The extra little nap was just what they needed.  We decided to go for a swim to cool off, take baths, and have supper before going back to Magic Kingdom.  The boys always love swimming, and we had pizza for supper.  We had just enough time before the "Wishes" firework show to go see Tinkerbell & Terrence.  Tinkerbell has a "nook" where she & one of the other fairies talk to you & sign autographs.  Terrence was with her the night we went.  The fairies were great!  Terrence talked to us about how the fairy dust works, and Tinkerbell recruited Jett to be a scout.  They practiced yelling "Hawk!"  We had a great time!  The "Wishes" firework show was great.  The boys loved the music & lights.  The castle turned lots of different colors, and the fireworks were awesome!  The perfect end to a wonderful day!

Day 1: Magic Kingdom

I apologize, it's been over a month since I've blogged.  We have been busy!
This is the first of a couple posts about our day at Magic Kingdom.  Jett was so excited!  The castle is what he had most been looking forward too.  They show the castle at the beginning of every Disney Movie & Jett thinks it is the most magical thing ever.  His face was absolutely priceless when we walked through the entrance.  We were nervous that Jett would be scared of the rides, so we started with "It's a Small World."  It was better than I remembered.  Ace loved it & Jett screamed about half way through it before he realized that it was a slow boat ride, and he was fine:) We went over to Tomorrow Land after that, and Ace & I saw our first character while Jett was having a potty break.  We saw Stitch, and Ace was terrified of him!  We waited for Jett, and the boys got their autograph books signed.  We saw several characters & got lots of autographs.  Jett really enjoyed driving the Indy cars, watching the Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor, and meeting Woody & Jessie.
